Asking more specifically about amount of aloe is toxic?

I know in general aloe is toxic in cats, but it would help to know the specific amount because I once had a vet tell me to give a cat Pepto Bismol, which helped her. When I moved and changed vets, the new vet was surprised and said it was toxic for cats, but it turned out it was only toxic if you gave them two tablespoons or more, and she only had 1/4 teaspoon. I mentioned to my vet I was giving my cat a couple teaspoons of George's fractially distilled liquid from aloe leaves, and he didn't say anything about it. I found out aloe was toxic when I decided to investigate what all is toxic for cats and found that on the list. Thanks.
