Help...Is he really into me?

This guy told me that he really likes me. He even said that he'll wait for me until I'm ready even if it will take him a year to wait.It's been only 1 month and now he seldom e-mail me anymore. He knows I have a new job which I work at graveyard shift and he said he doesn't want to bother me because maybe I'm sleeping or what. But I'm just wondering if he really likes me. He told me he'll wait for me a lot of times. I'm really confused.
