My best friend wont let me talk to her boyfriend?

ok, so about 4 months back my friend and i met a guy lets call him richie and my best friend lori. So lori and i both hung out with richie and we both developed a crush on him. We both texted him a lot and we started to fight over him. we were in an argument over who he liked since he flirted with both of us. When he eventually chose lori and they started to go out i still texted him because he was a friend and now nothing more than that since i respect boundries. But when she was talking bout him ALL THE TIME, i brought up a few of our conversations and she thought i was trying to one up her. When she gave me a note stating how she felt jelous of me and his friendship i backed a little and stoped talking bout him but still texted him because i feel that people shouldnt be alowed to chose who i am friends with. She gave me another note saying to stop texting him and if i didnt we wouldnt be friends anymore, i did. Now occionally when i get bored i text him and if she finds out about it she goes all ape-**** on me. I dont wanna loose such an important friendship over a guy but i wish she wouldnt be so controlling! what can i do to stop the madness! She defends her actions saying that she thinks that he will cheat on her with me when he has had no history of cheating and i have a boyfriend now! what can i do to be able to keep both friendships without pissing anyone off?
